Due to the nature of Self & Peer Assessments, there are multiple steps that you have to follow to make sure that each section is submitted properly. There are three distinct sections of completing a Self & Peer Assessment.

Read the instructions from your instructor very carefully. You will see a distinct due date and time for your submission as well as for when your evaluations are due.


Submission

  1. Go to the area of your course site where the assignment is located.
  2. Read the instructions from your instructor and closely look at the due dates. (See, Fig. 1)

  4. Click on View/Complete Assessment.
  5. Click on Question 1 to work on the assignment. As you complete each question your status will go from Not Completed to Completed. (See, Fig. 2)

  7. Type in your response to the question and/or browse your computer for the file you wish to attach. Then, click Submit.

NOTE: After the time period for submissions is past, you have to go back to the assignment and complete the evaluation process.


Evaluation

  1. Go to the area of your course site where the assignment is located.
  2. Read the instructions from your instructor and closely look at the due dates. (See, Fig. 1)
  3. Click on View/Complete Assessment.
  4. Click on the blue lettered name of the first person(s) you are to evaluate. (See, Fig. 3).

  6. Read and evaluate their submitted assignment as directed.
  7. There may be multiple criterion - make sure you click Save and Next Criteria to complete them all. Then, Submit your evaluation.


Review

After the evaluation period has ended you may go back and read your own recieved evaluations. To do so, go to the assignment and click View/Complete Assessment. It will then show you your results for each evaluation and criterion. You can also access this information from the Grades tool.
